doddinoz: V Festival

Sorry for the late post! It has been a very busy few weeks at work preparing next years budgets! (Fin year being 1st July) so thankfully that has now come to an end! we had a lovely second week with Ali's mum and dad! seeing the sites, eating out and enjoying the sunshine!

Last weekend we managed to get last minute tickets to V Festival, it was a great line up including a number of British bands! Razor light were not playing till 5pm so we spent the day with Ali's parents. First stop was for Brunch at a little cafe near us, where the boys had there first beer! We then took a walk though Paddington and headed to the Sat markets.

After a look round the shops and a trip to the markets we headed to a local beer garden for a drink and catch up before we headed to V Festival. The festival was at Centennial park, which is only a 30 min walk from our house! We arrived just in time to catch up with our friends and hit the bar before Razorlight came on.

Razorlight then played for 45 minutes, they are not that big in Oz so we managed to get really close to the stage!

40 minutes into the Kaiser Chiefs we decided to run to the other side of the park, past the Human league performing and watch Snow patrol

On the way we stopped to take the photos of the sun set, it was so pretty!

We decided t stay till the end of Snow Patrol and then ran back across to the other main stage to see the Killers! needless to say we lost everyone! but had a great time...The Killers just get better every time we see them!
